Sweet Clash

Privacy Policy

Last updated 19 August 2026. This policy covers the Sweet Clash game at sweetclash.com/App/ and the same game distributed through app stores, together with the websites sweetclash.com and candy-clash.com.

Sweet Clash is made by 2DLogic. This policy tells you exactly what the game collects, why it needs it, who else sees it, and how to get rid of it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version. Sweet Clash has no advertising, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no third-party SDKs. We do not sell or share your data with anyone. The only outside party involved is Google, and only if you choose to sign in with a Google account. You can play without an account at all, and you can delete your account at any time from our deletion page.

1. What we collect

If you play as a guest

You can play without giving us anything. When you tap Play as Guest the game creates an anonymous player id and a display name, stores them in your browser's local storage, and uses them to keep a record of your progress on our server. That record is not linked to any real-world identity, and we do not ask for one.

If you sign in with Google

Signing in is optional, and its only purpose is to let your progress follow you to another device. When you approve the Google sign-in prompt, Google gives the game a signed token, which our server verifies with Google. From that token we store:

WhatWhy we need it
Your Google account identifier (the stable sub value) It is the key your account is stored under. Without it we cannot tell one player from another when you come back.
Your display name Shown on your player card and to opponents you play against.
Your email address Held so we can identify your account if you contact support or ask for deletion. We do not send marketing email.
Your profile picture URL Used as your in-game avatar unless you pick a different one.

We never receive or store your Google password. We do not request access to your contacts, calendar, files, photos, location or any other Google service.

What the game records as you play

  • Your campaign progress — which cities and stops you have cleared.
  • Your coin balance and in-game statistics such as wins and losses.
  • Your chosen avatar.
  • Matches you play, while they are in progress, so a dropped connection can be resumed rather than lost.

Technical data

Like any website, our servers record ordinary connection information — IP address, browser type and the time of the request — in their logs. These logs exist to keep the service running and to investigate abuse or faults. They are not used to build a profile of you and are not combined with your game account for any other purpose.

2. What we do not do

  • No advertising. There are no ads in Sweet Clash and no ad network code in it.
  • No analytics or tracking. There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no Firebase Analytics, no crash-reporting SDK and no session recording.
  • No selling or sharing. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or any other third party.
  • No purchases. Sweet Clash has no in-app purchases, so we never handle your payment details. Coins are play money and have no cash value; they cannot be bought, sold, transferred or withdrawn.

3. Cookies and local storage

The game does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It uses your browser's local storage to remember a small number of things so you are not made to sign in again on every visit: your player name, an automatically generated login secret, whether automatic sign-in is enabled, and — for guests — the anonymous guest id and name. Clearing your browser storage removes these; if you were playing as a guest, that also makes the guest progress unreachable, because the guest id was the only way to find it.

4. Who else sees your data

Three categories of recipient, and no others:

  • Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google. That exchange is governed by Google's own privacy policy. If you never sign in, Google is not involved at all.
  • Our hosting provider, which stores the game and its database on our behalf and is bound to process it only on our instructions.
  • Other players, who see your display name and avatar when you play against them — nothing else. Your email address is never shown to another player.

We will also disclose information if we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or the safety of our players.

5. Where your data is kept, and for how long

Your account and progress are stored on our servers and may be processed outside your own country, including outside the European Economic Area. We keep your account for as long as it is in use. If an account has not been signed in to for three years, we may delete it along with its progress. Server logs are kept for a short operational period and then discarded.

You can shorten all of that to "immediately" by asking us to delete the account — see the next section.

6. Deleting your account

You can ask us to delete your Sweet Clash account and everything attached to it at any time, without giving a reason.

Go to the account deletion page — it works whether or not you have the game installed, and whether or not you are signed in.

When a deletion request is completed we remove your account record, your Google identifier, display name, email address and avatar, your campaign progress, your coin balance and your match history. We aim to complete requests within 30 days. Anything we are required by law to retain — for example records relating to a dispute — is kept only for as long as that obligation lasts, and for nothing else.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. To exercise any of these, email support@2dlogic.com from the address on your account, or use the deletion page above. We will not charge you or make you jump through hoops. If you believe we have mishandled your data you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Children

Sweet Clash is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact support@2dlogic.com and we will delete it.

9. Security

Account data is held on secured servers and sign-in tokens are verified server-side rather than trusted from the client. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect what we hold and to limit what we hold in the first place — the shortest honest summary of our approach is that the safest data is the data we never collected.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will say so in the game as well.
